Blogging in the month of December is a rarity for us, but every so often we run across a set of photos that entail everything a wedding should be, and therefore, we hunker down and write it out. Having only had the chance to meet Dave & Audrey over video chat, we started off their wedding day by just hanging out for a bit. It didn’t take all but five minutes before we were offered food and all the hospitality one could ask for. We knew we were in for a treat.
While the sun didn’t make an appearance for all but ten minutes of their Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding, it still felt as warm as could be. The weather held out long enough for these two to get married under the arbor at the High Lonesome Lodge. Following the ceremony, we trucked the entire wedding party down to the pasture for some running, jumping and energy packed photos next to the buck and rail fencing the ranch is known for.
As the temperature dropped, everyone headed into the lodge so the reception could begin. The night kicked off with live music from xxxxx while Dave & Audrey had their first dance. The speeches from their respective loved ones were to die for. Audrey’s father had everyone rolling on the floor.
