The Outtakes. Our 2017 in Review.

Another year in the books with a collection of memories that we’ll surely never forget. We were fortunate enough to shoot at some of our favorite wedding venues, picked up a Fearless Photographers Award, and made some friends out of our amazing wedding clients.

We’re so priviledged to be given the job of documenting so many weddings every year. It’s not uncommon to see Stacy shed a tear during a ceremony, Trent take a selfie with a flower girl or for us to break out in dance when the DJ throws down one of our jams. Photographing weddings, for us, is more than taking pictures. We genuinely feel and react to every moment around us. This is our fuel. We continue to strive to be better photographers, after each and every click.

Each year has its challenges, but this one has been one of the most challenging ever. In April, we made the move to Silverthorne, CO and eventually into our house, which we then proceeded to gut. Remodeling a house, with a one-year-old boy, during the middle of wedding season isn’t something we’d attempt again, but we made it through and are loving our new mountain home more and more every day.

Its always fun to look back, laugh and remember the highs and lows of each wedding. Each one, a beautiful story. Also, if you haven’t had a chance to look at years past, here is our 2016, 2015, and 2014 outtakes.
