While Vail hasn’t been around for all that long, the Town of Vail is notoriously known for its world-class skiing and Swiss Alps aura. With a population just shy of 5,000, you’d think it was much more due to all the people wondering from shop to shop. Most everyone you’ll meet is a tourist from somewhere outside of Colorado. People travel all over the world to this quaint little mountain town, and for good reason. It’s “like no place on earth.”
Over the years, Vail has become a wedding destination hotspot, and for good reason. There are many great wedding venues in an around the town. Some that are a short walk from lodging and others that require 4-wheel-drive. Vail is a unique mountain town in that yes, it is in the mountains, but because of it’s location, you can’t always see the quintessential jagged mountain peaks. With a quick drive or maybe even walk, a little bit of elevation gain can do a lot for your vantage point.
