One of our strongest attributes as wedding photographers is being able to connect and invest in our couple’s family unit. Many year ago, we photographed Ali & Nico’s Wedding at Hotel Jerome. From there, we met the sisters, Kaylee and Taylor, who married Chris and Scott. That led us to Joey & Michaela. While that all may sound confusing, you get the picture. In short, it means so much to us when we show up to a wedding and instantly get hugs from the wedding party and parents.
Wedding prep was at The Little Nell. Micaela got ready with her bridesmaids in a suite facing Aspen Mountain and Joey indulged in some bourbon with his groomsmen in the speakeasy below. After Micaela slipped into her wedding dress, we shuttled over to the John Denver Sanctuary for a first look and family photos.
Not long after, we made our way to the T Lazy 7 Ranch for their wedding ceremony in the Mountain Meadow. While a bit breezy, the weather held off just long enough for them to make it through their Jewish wedding ceremony. Their day finished with even more energy than it started with. Their dance party was epic. Their love for each other and their loved ones is so evident. It was felt all throughout the day and we cannot thank them enough for the opportunity to document it all.
