With the forecast of a winter storm looming for Dan & Jordan’s engagement, we moved their evening session to a sunrise one to take advantage of the fall color before the wind took its course. So, don’t let this warm light fool you… it was a cold session with high speed winds. In the end though, the morning light on Boreas Pass did not disappoint and made the early wakeup call all the more while worth it.
These two seemed to still be riding a high as Dan had just proposed the day before on a hike up St. Mary Glacier. Being that Dan used to live in Denver, he wanted to show her all this state had to offer. “Go big,” so we made the drive all the way up top for some breathtaking mountain views. Chasing each pocket of light was just the right adventure to keep us moving and our bodies warm.
Thank you both for making the trip out to Colorado for this special event and for braving the early morning temps.
