Mike & Allie met in California, but have fallen in love in Colorado. “Its about dang time,” is the phrase their friends and family started using when Mike popped the question to Allie this summer. Reaching out to us about shooting their engagement photos, they wanted a scene that felt like the beautiful state they now call home, which is why we headed to Evergreen to shoot their engagement session.
We’re huge fans of Evergreen because of its beautiful light, scenery and usual encounter with elk. Our last two engagement sessions have been elk bombed. Its called Elk Meadow for a reason.
Being able to spend an afternoon with these two, tromping through the forest in search of golden aspen groves was time well spent. Mike had no problems summoning Allie’s beautiful smile and it was so easy to capture their love for each other. Enjoy.
